12 Hours for Greece

12 Hours for Greece is an initiative of citizens of various nationalities living in Brussels, acting in their own name, wishing to address a sign of support and solidarity to the Greek people in times of crisis. This event will be held on 16 May 2012 from 10.00 am to midnight at Halles de Schaerbeek in Brussels!

This event is a support for Greek citizens with the European Policy towards Greece. The 12 hours for Greece event would like to combat stereotypes , on the occasion of a cultural and festive gathering and to finance a concrete project, Το Χαμόγελο του Παιδιού/The Smile of the Child, an association helping children in difficulty in Athens.

The program will be intense :

Marathon-reading of the Odysseus by 400 readers
Conference on "Dropping stereotypes: towards a new image for Greece"
Concert with the exceptionnal participation of Dionysis Savvopoulos & Vassilis Kazoulis
