How Do Yo Do...Brussels? is an artistic exhibition started by four foreign women of different nationalities living in Moscow. They were motivated to discover how other people lived, felt and thought about the city. The positive feedback they received inspired them to create an exhibition.

A diverse selection of foreigners were questioned and photographed resulting in the very successful “How do you do…Moscow?” exhibition at the MMOMA (Moscow Museum of Modern Art) in September 2009.

“How do you do ... ?” is now coming to Brussels in May 2011 at the Halles Saint Géry. A large cross section of foreign Bruxellois will be taking part an exhibition that includes black and white photos, interview extracts and "mixed media" artworks.

RIP Traditional Media debate

Cafebabel Brussels invites you to the debate

R.I.P. Traditional Media Conference. New ways to Communicate Europe.

Thursday 9 December at 18.30

The development of new media represents a great opportunity to change the way we communicate about Europe. Despite their influence, traditional medias often fail to inform properly about European issues, leading to a general desinformation, or even mistrust toward the EU institutions.

For communication professionals, all of those tools changed their own communication strategy. On the European level, citizens, public figures and institutions are embracing the movement.

Students of CAE Master of IHECS organises a debate to share ideas and experiences of new media technologies and strategies, where communication professionals and journalists will discuss the use of new media tools in their work and in its impact in the way they communicate about Europe.

With:
Juan Arcas, Managing Director of Tipik Communication Agency
Laurent Kinet, Managing partner at K Company
Jean-Sébastien Lefebvre, Journalist in European Affairs
Florent Le Montagnier, Web editor at the European Parliament
Tomas Miglierina, Vice President of the International Press Association

The debate will be followed by a drink!!

Thursday 9 December at 18.30
IHECS, Velge Room - 1° floor
Rue de l'Etuve 58-60, 1000 BXL
